Autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage provides a stronger support than ear cartilage and nasal septal cartilage, making it possible to create a sharp nose shape. Autologous costal cartilage is mainly used when revision surgery, contracture nose, or reconstruction is required.
Depending on the case, costal cartilage number 7 to 9 is harvested, and surgery can be performed not only on the tip of the nose but also on the bridge of the nose.
